GPRS 1040 Module for Motorola MC50

GPRS 1040 Module for Motorola MC50 This accessory to the Motorola MC50 handheld terminal provides the unit with Wide Area Network (WAN) capability. The unit attaches as a sleeve around the MC50 and contains the radio modem, a removable Li Ion rechargeable battery, antenna and SIM card. The GPRS modem is a tri-band Class 10 device capable of providing high speed data access to a GSM network. A SIM holder is mounted behind the removable battery. The incorporation of the removable battery ensures that the MC50 battery performance is un-affected by the use of the GPRS module. The mechanical design of the module enables the attachment to remain compatible with existing MC50 accessories such as the desktop charge cradle and the car charger.
