 This compact snap-on reader integrates:
a contact and contactless smart card reader,
an OCR-B swipe reader for the Machine Readable Zone (MRZ) of a Passport,
a high resolution, high contrast ratio finger biometric sensor,
a Magnetic Swipe Card Reader - tracks 1,2 and 3 with optional decoding of AAMVA and Financial cards.
The snap-on can be used with all product variants of the Motorola MC70/75 to provide a full featured PIV and ePassport
mobile reader
The contact smartcard reader is compliant to ISO7816-1,2,3,4, supports T=0 and T=1 protocols and 2-wire and 3-wire modes
and is PC/SC and EMV 2000 Level 1 compliant. The contactless smartcard reader provides the ability to read and write to a wide variety of transponders at 13.56MHz
compliant to ISO 15693, ISO 14443A, ISO 14443B and HID iClass®. The small snap-on device can be semi-permanently attached to the Motorola MC70/75 whilst retaining compatibility with the
single slot charger cradle as well as a variety of other Motorola accessories for the handheld device allowing the Motorola
MC70/75 to be charged with the snap-on attached. A standards based solution simplifies application development using the extensive API and SDK available for this product. Activesync over USB is supported
